Manifesta 9 is held in the beautifully run down buildings of the former André Dumont coalmine in Waterschei. Contrary to the C-Mine elsewhere in Gent, the Waterschei mine has not been renovated. The great historic industrial location adds a lot of character to the impact of the exhibition.
