Across the street from KunstWerke in the Auguststrasse is the Mädchenschule, a former girls school now home of the Michael Fuchs galerie, CWC Galerie and Grüntuch Ernst Lab.

The latter features large photographs spanning from floor to ceiling and even continuing on both. Impressive scale in real life, but something strange happens when I open my photos of the exhibition: the division between the Grüntuch Ernst Lab exhibition space and the spaces in Jan Bitter‘s photos seems to vanish, resulting in photos of seemingly impossible perspectives. I was there but even I had a hard time distinguishing where the exhibition space stops and the photos begin.
