Halfway Amsterdam and Copenhagen lies Rendsburg. A small northern german town with an industrial past of which the high railway bridge with hanging ferry is a very visual reminder.

The former iron foundry is now home of the Carlshütte art collection. Surrounding the premises is a large sculpture garden, but inside the large industrial buildings is what’s really impressive.
